Family Planning Service is a convenient and affordable agency for men, women, and teenagers to access reproductive healthcare services. We offer respectful and confidential services to community members across the city and Onondaga County.
Services are free and confidential for teens. This means that you do not need a parent/guardian present to receive services. In our commitment to making clinics more accessible for teens, we have Teen-Only Clinics once a week at each clinic to promote our safe and judgement-free space.
Money should never be a barrier to care therefore services are low to no cost for most patients based on a sliding fee scale. We accept private insurances and Medicaid. Financial enrollers are available in clinic for questions or assistance in helping you apply for the NYS Family Planning Benefit Program if you are eligible. No one is denied services based on inability to pay.
Family Planning Benefit Program (FPBP)- A public health insurance program through New York State to help individuals access family planning services who otherwise may not be able to afford it
Presumptive Medicaid- If an individual comes in and has a positive pregnancy test, our staff is able to apply the patient for Presumptive Medicaid.
FPS is a program of Syracuse Community Connections located at Southwest Community Center.
