Bi Visibility Day, also known as International Celebrate Bisexuality Day, has been celebrated each year since 1999 to highlight biphobia and to help bring awareness to the bisexual community. 58% of bisexuals are exposed to biphobic jokes at work, and 31% have been sexually harassed on the job because of who they are are. Many have even been denied job advancement or work opportunities because they are bisexual.
